Welcome to AIC's newsletter number 14.

May we encourage you to please take the time to complete our very short quality survey. The survey is designed to gather feedback about various aspects of AIC products and services. From the feedback we will seek to improve areas of our operations that you, our customers, feel could be improved.
We will respond to comments and may ask you to elaborate on areas where you feel we have room for improvement.
Amalgamated Instrument Co Pty Ltd (AIC) has just released a panel mount indicator featuring dual 32 segment bargraph displays.
The indicator, the PM4-IV2, uses two analog inputs to give a scalable display on each bar. The inputs are isolated (1kV isolation) from one another and from the power supply. The instrument will accept 4-20mA, 0-2VDC or 0-20VDC inputs. These ranges are easily selectable by the user.
Scaling is easily achieved using the convenient push buttons on the rear of the case and a current or voltage source. The manual has full instructions for scaling the two graphical displays.
This display is ideal for applications such as level comparison between two tanks, thrust indication for two engines in a marine environment, output matching before manual changeover and, indeed, any application where two analog signals need to be displayed together.
The display can be configured as a solid bar indication (as illustrated) or a single segment indication. This selection is easily made by a DIP switch on the back of the instrument.

The TITAN Products WS-TP/ESF-35-2 is a duct mount air velocity transmitter ideal for ventilation systems.
The transmitter has selectable velocity ranges of 0-8m/sec or 0-16m/sec and gives an analog velocity output of either 4-20mA or 0-10VDC. A temperature output is also available as a 0-10VDC signal.
The μ-processor provides a linearised output and allows for the variations of ambient temperature.
