AIC is about to release the second edition of its CD-ROM. The first release, in April 2001, was a great success and we believe the new release to be even better. We are also including our price lists. The price lists are accessed by product type with details of the many features available for each product. |

An enhanced feature of the new CD-ROM is the opportunity for users to "customise" the brochures, datasheets and Operation Manuals with their company details. This feature was available on the first release but we have made the function available across the whole library of datasheets rather than restricting it to Product Pack sections. The feature uses standard features of the ADOBE ACROBATTM software package and is available to anyone with ACROBAT READERTM (release 4) installed. It is necessary to copy two small ".fdf" files onto your computer and edit them to reflect your details but, after that, any brochure or manual can be "personalised" with your company name and address details at the "click of a mouse". A copy of ACROBAT READERTM rel 4 is included on the AIC CD-ROM. The Amalgamated Instrument Co CD-ROM will be sent to all of you on our current mailing list. With our first release we sent a registration form so you could acknowledge receipt of the disk and make any corrections to your details. We also asked for some feedback regarding special areas of interest you may have. |

Amalgamated Instrument Co is enhancing its range of Large Digit Displays. The enhancements include a wider range of display sizes and types. Displays are available using 7 segment LED modules or using 7 segment electromagnetic "flip" modules. The displays are available in 4, 5 or 6 digits although not all displays will be available in all styles for all instruments. As an example, the very flexible LD-TM model accepts 4-20mA, DC mV and DC Volts as well as RTD or thermocouiple input. It has 4 form C setpoint relays as standard and can be supplied with serial communications and datalogging as options. Both these models, as with most of the others in the range, will be available with the following displays:
AIC has models for a wide range of applications in its Large Digit Display product portfolio.
With digital input there are models for:
The BCD model has been completely redesigned and now offers greater flexability for inputs of BCD, Binary or Gray Code. Visit AIC's website, click on "SELECT BY PRODUCT", click on "LARGE DIGIT DISPLAYS" and browse the list of the Large Digit Range. The brochures for each particular model are available as .PDF files and can be downloaded. Go to AIC's Website |
